Ronald L. Bennett Jr., a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. He was 84 years of age.

The son of the late Ronald L. & Stella Mott Bennett, he was born on November 15, 1939 in Middletown, NY.

Ronald was a master mechanic and owner of R&D Auto Repair in Fair Oaks. He was an avid bowler and in the Middletown Bowling League Hall of Fame. Ronald was a good friend to all and always there to help anyone who asked for his help and at no cost.

Survivors include: his devoted companion of 22 years, Joy E. Foster; his daughter Kelly L. Bennett and son Ronald L. Bennett III; 10 grandchildren & several great grandchildren; his sisters, Nancy Banks & Joan Klein. Ronald was predeceased by his wife Linda Bennett, son Daniel Bennett, daughters Sherry L. King & Susan Marie Perkowski, granddaughter Mandee King, brother Donald Bennett & sister Janice Williamson.

Funeral services will be held privately with interment in the Howells Cemetery, Howells, NY.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
